Welcome to Mocs in STEM RLC!

Mocs in STEM is a dynamic, interdisciplinary Residential Learning Community (RLC) for students majoring in math, physics, chemistry, biology, environmental science and more who want to connect, explore, and grow. In Mocs in STEM, you will build friendships, gain faculty support and mentorship, and enjoy shared classes, service projects, and local adventures.
Sponsored by the Department of Mathematics, the RLC provides a cohort class of students enrolled in MATH 1730 (Precalculus) and MATH 1950 (Calculus I) during the Fall and Spring semesters, respectively.
Eligible students must be declared STEM majors in the College of Arts & Sciences and enroll in MATH 1730 (Combined Precalculus) during the Fall semester.
Math requirements for prospective students anticipating enrollment in MATH 1730 (Combine Precalculus): ACT Math score of 24+, SAT Math score of 560+, or completion of MATH 1130 (College Algebra) with a grade of C or better.
