HyFlex Instruction
HyFlex (hybrid + flexibility) is a hybrid course model that provides ultimate flexibility to students. For each module/unit, a student can choose either the face-to-face option or the online option. The instructor provides content, activities, and assessment to meet the needs of students participating in both modalities for every module/unit. It is important to provide meaningful alternative modes throughout the course with this model. Potentially, a student could choose to do all face-to-face sessions, alternate between face-to-face and online, or do all online.
