Your path to academic success.
So, I'm an SSS student. Now what?
At the beginning of each fall semester (once a year), you MUST request services by completing the Intent to Continue Participate form.
This form lets us know you still want to be a part of SSS, and it informs the staff of any needs you may have. Also, any time during the year, you may request additional services as needed.
What is expected of me?
We expect you to:
Keep SSS informed of your academic progress and any situation that may affect your academic progress
Respond to emails when requested
Attend workshops and functions as able
Ask for help when needed
Please note, your level of involvement in SSS will determine whether or not you continue to have access to the available free services and activities. You risk being terminated from the program if you are only using the computer lab and none of our other services.
How do I stay up-to-date?
To stay up-to-date on our activities and services, watch your email and Blackboard closely. All of the important SSS information will be found on our SSS Blackboard page under "My Organizations." There you will find any dates, deadlines, forms, newsletters, etc. that are important for our program.
We send out a monthly newsletter with information as well as regular email updates, so you should always know what SSS is doing to support you!
