NSF Career Program
The National Science Foundation Faculty Early Career Development Program (CAREER) is a Foundation-wide activity that offers the National Science Foundation's most prestigious awards in support of early-career faculty who have the potential to serve as academic role models in research and education and to lead advances in the mission of their department or organization.
ORSP wants to help faculty pursue this grant by providing the necessary resources and support to submit a CAREER proposal. Below you will find information on important deadlines and benchmarks, workshops, and NSF templates! If you have any questions or need 1:1 support, please reach out to [email protected].
CAREER submissions for 2023 are due July 26th at 5 P.M.

NSF Templates and Guides
NSF will be implementing a mandate on October 23, 2023 that all biographical sketch information and current and pending support lists must be entered into SciENcv directly, without the fillable PDF option. In the interim, proposers may continue to prepare and submit this document via use of SciENcv or the NSF fillable PDF. NSF, however, encourages the community to use SciENcv prior to the October 2023 implementation. For more information regarding these policy updates and approved formats, please visit our NSF PAPPG page.
