NSF Career Program
The National Science Foundation Faculty Early Career Development Program (CAREER) is a Foundation-wide activity that offers the National Science Foundation's most prestigious awards in support of early-career faculty who have the potential to serve as academic role models in research and education and to lead advances in the mission of their department or organization.
ORSP wants to help faculty pursue this grant by providing the necessary resources and support to submit a CAREER proposal. Below you will find information on important deadlines and benchmarks, workshops, and NSF templates! If you have any questions or need 1:1 support, please reach out to [email protected].
CAREER submissions for 2024 are due July 24th at 5 P.M.

NSF Templates and Guides
NSF requires Biographical Sketches and Current and Pending (Other) Support forms to now be completed using SciENcv. Starting May 20, 2024, there will be two changes to the Biographical Sketch form 1) the 3-page limitation will be removed from the Biographical Sketch and it will no longer have a page limitation; and 2) the Synergistic Activities section will be removed from the biographical sketch and will instead be required to be submitted by individuals designated as senior/key persons as part of the senior/key personnel documents in Research.gov. For more information regarding these policy updates and approved formats, please visit our SciENcv Guide page.
