New Employee Orientation – What to Expect

BEFORE You Start
As part of your new hire onboarding journey, you will receive an email from DASH (sent to the email used to apply for your new position) with important tasks to complete on or before your first day.
Please complete the following:
- Welcome Video
- Update Personal Information
- Emergency Contact Information
- Submit Section 1 of your I-9
- Your employment eligibility supporting documents will be verified during orientation with Human Resources
Day One – New Hire Paperwork Session
What to Bring:
I-9 Employment Eligibility supporting documents – Please bring the following:
- one document from List A; OR
- one document from List B AND one document from List C.
- Documents must be original and unexpired.
During this one-hour session, we will provide and walk you through completion of the following new hire forms:
- Electronic Form I-9 (Please complete BEFORE your start date)
- Personal Data Form
- Electronic Direct Deposit Enrollment
Additionally, please complete the following in your new hire onboarding journey in DASH:
- Complete your W-4 Info
- Update Document Delivery Preferences
- Conflict of Interest Certification
- ID Badge and Parking Request Form
- Parking Form
- Prior State/Federal Service
What to Wear:
Orientation is considered as part of your work time, so please dress as you would normally dress for work. Please check with your supervisor if you need additional clarification or instructions.
New Employee Benefits Orientation
You will receive benefits paperwork and session times during the new hire orientation with HR on your first day of employment.
