Global education is becoming more critical than ever to a student’s education.
We strongly encourage you as parents to be involved in the process from the beginning. You will understand the role of global education and study abroad in your student’s academic career, and you will be be aware of the resources available to you as a parent.
In addition to the resources provided below, the Center for Global Education's staff are always available to respond to any inquiries you may have—by phone, email or in person.

- School for Field Studies (SFS)

Since 1980, SFS has offered programs that are based in locations and ecosystems grappling with critical environmental issues such as climate change. SIT has been providing immersive, field-based study abroad programs for undergraduates for more than 50 years. SIT programs immerse students deeply in their host country. [Their] programs are based on the experiential learning model. Programs combine classroom study with hands-on work in the field.
