Rural Care Collective Annual Conference
Welcome to the first-annual Rural Care Collective Conference. Hosted by the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, School of Professional Studies Behavioral Healthcare through Interprofessional (B-HIP) training program, the inaugural event will take place on May 14-15, 2027 at The Lodge at Fall Creek Falls State Park.
This event seeks to draw mental and behavioral health providers, community stakeholders, state government representatives, and behavioral health students from across the Southeast Tennessee, North Georgia region as well as other HRSA grant awardees nationwide who are aligned with the mission to strengthen the behavioral health workforce.
The goal of the B-HIP traineeship program is to expand the behavioral health workforce in the underserved Appalachian region of southeast Tennessee by preparing a diverse, skilled workforce to meet the urgent mental health needs of children, adolescents, and young adults through deep collaboration with community partners and interprofessional training across School Psychology, Clinical Mental Health Counseling, School Counseling, and Social Work.
