B-HIP Traineeship Applications
The B-HIP Traineeship Program is designed to support students during their internship year with a financial award of $25,000, distributed over the academic year for which they are applying. Students are encouraged to consult with the designated B-HIP faculty team to discuss eligibility requirements in greater detail.
Students interested in applying for the B-HIP Traineeship must complete these steps:
Step 1: Fill out the online application form. A copy of your transcripts are required and can be attained via Reach or MyMocsDegree for current UTC students.
Incomplete applications will not be reviewed.
Step 2: Upon acceptance into the B-HIP Traineeship program, students will receive an official acceptance letter along with a Student Commitment Letter that must be signed and submitted.
Students will be notified of their acceptance into the B-HIP Traineeship Program during the summer preceding their internship year.
Step 3: As outlined in the Student Commitment Letter, all accepted applicants are required to meet with representatives from UTC’s Financial Aid and Bursar’s offices to review the potential impact of traineeship funding on other forms of financial assistance.
Step 4: During the orientation session, students must complete the application to receive a National Provider Identifier (NPI). The B-HIP Program Coordinators will provide you with a program-specific form to fill out.
