B-HIP Traineeship Applications
The B-HIP Traineeship Program is designed to support students during their internship year with a financial award of $25,000, distributed over the academic year for which they are applying. Students are encouraged to consult with the designated B-HIP faculty team to discuss eligibility requirements in greater detail.
Students interested in applying for the B-HIP Traineeship must complete these steps:
Step 1: Fill out the online application form. A copy of your graduate transcripts is required and can be attained via MyMocsNet for current UTC students.
Undergraduate transcripts are required for MSW Advanced Standing students only. Requests must be sent to [email protected]
Incomplete applications will not be reviewed.
Applications for the 2027/2028 academic year are due Friday, April 16 by noon.
Step 2: Upon acceptance into the B-HIP Traineeship program, students will receive an official acceptance letter along with a Student Commitment Letter that must be signed and submitted.
Students will be notified of their acceptance into the B-HIP Traineeship Program on Monday, May 3. Commitment Letters must be submitted by Friday, May 7.
Step 3: As outlined in the Student Commitment Letter, all accepted applicants are required to meet with representatives from UTC’s Financial Aid and Bursar’s offices to review the potential impact of traineeship funding on other forms of financial assistance.
Step 4: During the orientation session, students must complete the application to receive a National Provider Identifier (NPI). The B-HIP Program Coordinators will provide you with a program-specific form to fill out.
