Graduate Athletic Training Program Mission
The mission of the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga Graduate Athletic Training Program (UTC GATP) is to prepare students to provide evidence-based and patient-centered clinical services that will optimize the quality of health care received by physically active people of any age.

- Prepare students for the Board of Certification exam
- Provide mentorship and academic/clinical advising to assist students in progressing through the academic and clinical requirements for graduation
- Provide career/professional mentorship and advisement to assist students in obtaining a job within the first 6 months post-graduation
- Provide regular interprofessional education through educational activities and instruction with students-faculty from other health professions programs
- Support the athletic training profession through involvement in scholarly and professional development activities
