Collaboration

The MLK Smart Corridor and Testbed is focused around collaboration. Our goal is to make it as easy as possible for other contributors to access parts of our data, deploy their sensor remotely, and more. To do so, we have developed an integration platform for doing just this. This integration platform allows collaborators to deploy hardware or software using our Testbed, without having to travel here for the deployment or debugging.

In the works is an API for this integration platform, making it easier for collaborators to use it. Already, our team has developed a few processor and consumer applications which use this integration platform as well, helping us test the platform for any shortcomings or unexpected issues.

Some of these implemented uses for the integration platform are:

• Air Quality Monitoring

• Object Path Visualization

• Near-Miss Detection [WIP]

• Audio Analysis using SoNYC
