Overview of Degree Requirements

The major components of the Leadership and Instructional Practice Doctoral Program (link: EdD Program of Study) include:

  • 1 credit hour foundational course (LEAD 7000)
  • 24 credit hours of core coursework integrated across the program competency domains  
  • 24 credit hours of elective coursework
  • 5 credits of Pre-Project of Practice
  • Comprehensive Assessment
  • 12 credits (minimum) of Project of Practice
  • Successful completion and defense of the Project of Practice
