Blast Off into Summer 2026 at the UTC Challenger STEM Learning Center!
Registration is officially LIVE for our 2026 Summer Exploration Camps! We have an unforgettable mission waiting for your rising 3rd-6th graders.
Why Choose Challenger Camp? We offer a high-energy, hands-on environment where science comes to life through space missions, robotics, and daily adventures around Chattanooga.
Weekly Themes & Focus Areas: Campers are welcome to sign up for multiple sessions! While core activities overlap to ensure a well-rounded experience, each week has unique activities to keep multi-week campers engaged:
- Camp I [rising 3rd & 4th] July 6–10: Focus on Earth Science, Chemistry, Biology, and Geology.
- Camp II [rising 5th & 6th] July 13–17: Focus on Earth Science, Chemistry, Biology, and Geology.
- Camp III [rising 3rd & 4th] July 20–24: Focus on Physics, Astronomy, Robotics, and Technology
- Camp IV [rising 5th & 6th] July 27–31: Focus on Physics, Astronomy, Robotics, and Technology.
Daily General Schedule:
8:30 AM – 9:00 AM: Camper Check-in
9:00 AM – 11:30 AM: Morning STEM Workshops & Hands-on Challenges
11:30 AM – 12:30 PM: Lunch Break
12:30 PM – 3:00 PM: Daily Excursions or Rocket Launches
3:00 PM – 3:30 PM: Wrap-up & Reflection
3:30 PM: Standard Pick-up (Extended care available for an additional cost!)
Adventure Awaits: Our daily excursions include the Chattanooga Zoo, the UTC Aquatic Center (ARC), and the Clarence Jones Observatory, with more venues to be announced! Best of all, all excursion tickets are included in the camp price of $290.50.
Special Accommodations & Flexibility: We strive to be as accessible as possible. If you need a camper to attend a session outside their age range or want siblings to attend together, it is definitely possible! Please contact [email protected] before registering to coordinate.
