Yes, the BAS-AL is a degree completion program. A degree completion program is an academic program specifically designed for adult students who have started, but have not yet finished, a four-year undergraduate degree. By accepting some or all of the credits that a student has already earned from their previous education, degree completion programs offer students an alternative to starting over. Degree completion programs come in many different varieties in order to appeal to different kinds of students and learners. In order to maximize the likelihood of completion, it is important for students to choose a program that best aligns with their personal learning preferences.

- Community college students who have earned an associate degree and wish to further their education
- Those who began their bachelor’s degree but did not finish it
- Adult learners who already have years or even decades of career and prior learning experience, but who have started and not yet finished an undergraduate baccalaureate degree
- Veterans and service members who want to leverage their existing experience to earn a bachelor’s degree
