What is health and wellness coaching?
Coaching is a non-clinical, supportive service that helps individuals work towards self-directed lifestyle changes aligned with their values, which promote health and wellbeing.
Coaches do not provide medical or nutritional advice or mental health counseling, though they can help you work towards goals you have set with a medical professional or counselor.
How can health and wellness coaching help me?
Sessions can focus on, but are not limited to, topics such as:
- Physical wellbeing
- Sexual health
- Sleep hygiene
- Nutrition and exercise
- Nicotine cessation
- Managing a chronic illness or new health diagnosis
- Medication adherence
- Stress management
- Life balance
Appointments are available virtually via Zoom or Microsoft Teams or in-person in the Center for Wellbeing, UC350.
