Weekday Tours
Campus tours are available for registration! Each student is limited to two guests.
Tours are available Monday through Friday with morning (10 a.m.) and afternoon (2 p.m.) options to best fit your schedule. Tours for Summer 2025 are available on select days from May 5th - August 8th.
Saturday Tours
Saturday tours include an opportunity to speak with a UTC admissions counselor and a walking tour of campus.
Saturday tours for Spring 2025 will be held on February 15 and March 22.
Departmental Visits
Connect with a UTC representative from select majors for insights on the curriculum. They take place on Mondays and Wednesdays at noon and on Thursdays at 12:30 p.m. Departmental visits are not available during Summer (May-August). Spring 2025 visits are now available.
If you would like to participate in a campus tour and a department visit, make sure to register separately for both!
Transfer Student Tours
Beginning Feb. 18, we’re offering specialized tours for transfer students! These tours include a transfer-specific information session led by our Admissions Transfer Counselor, providing valuable insights and resources to make your transition seamless.
Spanish Speaking Tours
Starting Feb. 17, we’re offering Spanish-speaking campus tours! These tours take place every other Monday at 3:00 PM, providing an excellent opportunity for Spanish-speaking visitors to explore and learn more about our campus. We can provide a group tour with a Spanish speaking guide as well.
High School Counselors
We offer specialized campus tours designed for high school guidance counselors and their teams to discover what makes UTC an exceptional choice for their students. To schedule your visit, please email us at [email protected].
Graduate Student Tours

Transfer Tour Plus - March 6, 2025
UTC's Tour Plus gives you the opportunity to see the campus, meet with faculty, enjoy a meal and talk with staff who can answer your questions. Representatives from housing, financial aid and enrollment are ready to meet you on the Transfer Tour Plus.

UTC Tour Tips
- Register early and bring a copy of your confirmation. Tours fill up quickly, especially during fall and spring breaks.
- Chattanooga is in the Eastern time zone! If you're coming from the Central time zone (such as Memphis and Nashville), you'll be losing an hour on the way to UTC and gaining one on the way home.
- Wear comfortable shoes and be prepared for inclement weather. Don’t forget your umbrella.
