Mocs Flight Plan 2025-2030
About the Mocs Flight Plan
The Mocs Flight Plan is the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga’s Strategic Enrollment Plan through 2030. Aligned with and supporting the UTC Strategic Plan 2025–2030, the Mocs Flight Plan provides a coordinated framework for advancing enrollment growth, student success, and the overall student experience.
The plan guides UTC’s efforts to strategically grow enrollment, strengthen student retention and persistence, expand access and opportunity, and support students from recruitment through graduation. These efforts advance the University toward its goal of enrolling approximately 15,000 students by 2030 while supporting UTC’s broader strategic priorities and ensuring that growth is intentional and sustainable.
Through the Mocs Flight Task Force, faculty and staff from across the University work collaboratively to translate the plan’s strategic priorities into action. Eight implementation workgroups are charged with advancing key areas of the plan, developing and implementing initiatives, monitoring progress, and using data to assess impact and inform future decisions. Together, these workgroups provide a coordinated, campus-wide approach to achieving the goals outlined in the Mocs Flight Plan.
This site serves as a central resource for the UTC community to learn about the Mocs Flight Plan, follow the work of the Task Force and its eight implementation workgroups, review progress toward established goals, and stay informed about initiatives underway across campus.
UTC faculty and staff may also access the Mocs Flight Plan SharePoint site using their University credentials for additional information and resources related to the plan and its implementation.
Achieving the goals of the Mocs Flight Plan is a shared institutional responsibility. Together, the UTC community is working to strengthen the pathways that bring students to UTC, support their success while they are here, and help them persist through graduation and beyond.
