Badges and Certificates

Digital badges and microcredentials are an increasingly important way to highlight acquired skills and knowledge in professional development. The Walker Center offers digital badges through Canvas Credentials for a number of its programs so that faculty and staff can demonstrate their development as educators to their departments and colleagues. These badges can be shared in Digital Measures and social media sites such as LinkedIn. Printed certificates can also be created by request for those who earn badges. Walker Pathways

Walker Pathways is a digital badging pathway that allows faculty and staff to collect and keep track of their Walker Center badges. Once three badges are earned in an academic year, a 'Friend of the Center' badge is awarded, which indicates regular use of a range of Walker Center resources for professional development.
