Biography
Samantha serves as the Cataloging and Metadata Librarian, providing operational oversight of the UTC Library's catalog, managing records for library materials across all format types and ensuring library users can connect to the content they seek. She has been with the UTC Library since 2023. She earned her B.A. in English Literature from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2019 and her M.S. in Information Science with a concentration in Research Data Management from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville in 2022. Samantha's research interests include user-centered approaches to metadata creation and discovery, information history, and critical theory.
