ArcGIS Online
UTC students and faculty can access GIS software, data, and spatial analysis tools using UTC's cloud-based GIS platform, ArcGIS Online by logging in with their NetID. From ArcGIS Online, users can access and store geospatial data, create, and share web maps and applications, perform analysis, and download and license ArcGIS Pro, and more.

Esri Academic Site Licenses
ArcGIS Pro is downloadable from ArcGIS Online with common extensions (such as Image Analyst, Spatial Analyst, 3D Analyst, Network Analyst, Business Analyst and more.) Reach out to IGTlab staff if you need an additional license of Esri project.

GIS Data
UTC Geospatial Data Portal: IGTlab manages an open data portal for geospatial data generated from UTC research projects. Contact us if you would like your geospatial data added and housed on the portal. ArcGIS Online is compliant with FGDC Metadata standards and most data management plans (DMP) requirements for research grants.
Esri Living Atlas of the World: Esri's Living Atlas is a curated collection of data layers, maps, and applications from authoritative sources from around the world. This is a great place to start when looking for high quality geospatial data.
Chattanooga Open Data Portal: Hosts a variety of datasets pertianing to city of Chattanooga operations, performance, and community.
Geospatial Data for Tennessee: This open data portal hosted by the State of TN Strategic Technology Solutions GIS Services (STS-GIS) group offers a variety of authorities data from Tennessee State Agencies, including Lidar and Imagery.
