GIS Services to Campus and Community
UTC’s IGTLab offers GIS, remote sensing, and cartographic support for the UTC campus community and region for teaching, academic and applied research, campus operations and community. We work across colleges and departments on campus and with a variety of community partners such as non-profits and government agencies. Common GIS services and support include:
- Research/project evaluation, consultation, and support for GIS, remote sensing and cartography.
- Sourcing of GIS data and geographic information.
- Geospatial data management, storage, and hosting.
- Spatial data analysis, remote sensing, cartography, and GIS web application development.
- Field data collection.
- GIS and remote sensing software licenses for UTC students, faculty, and staff.
- Access to ArcGIS Online (cloud GIS) for UTC students, faculty, and staff.
- Access to Esri Virtual Campus (E-Learning) for UTC students, faculty, and staff.
- Workshops & guest lecturers for UTC classes.
