Welcome, Future Mocs!


Think of our office as your welcoming committee. We're excited to have you at UTC and we want you to be ready from day one. So we've prepared programming that will help you register for classes, get to know about your new University and help you meet your fellow incoming Mocs.

Get started by choosing an Orientation session based on your semester of enrollment and learn more about the session that's designed just for you. All new Mocs entering in the fall and spring are required to attend Orientation.

Fall 2020 Orientation


Freshman

This two-day required session gives you a crash-course in all things UTC. Meet fellow freshmen, register for classes, get comfortable exploring campus and more. Get started by registering for your preferred session and remember, sessions fill up quickly so register early.

Session Dates

  • June 1st & 2nd
  • June 4th & 5th
  • June 18th & 19th
  • June 25th & 26th
  • July 9th & 10th
  • July 20th & 21st
  • July 27th & 28th

Cost

The fee for Fall Orientation is $100 per student and $50 per optional parent/guest. Once fee payment is received, attendance will be confirmed by email.

Refund requests for orientation must be made by May 31st, 2020. There is a $10 processing fee on all refunds. No refunds will be given for students or guests after May 31st, 2020.

Orientation fees cover food and refreshments, staffing, facility/equipment rentals, paperwork, packaging, etc.

 Transfer

This one-day required session is designed especially for transfer students who have already gotten a feel for college life. Meet other students, register for classes, get comfortable exploring campus and more. Get started by registering for your preferred session and remember, sessions fill up quickly so register early.

Spring 2021 Orientation


Meet with an academic advisor, register for classes, learn how to navigate campus like a pro and more in this one-day session. Learn more about campus, get directions and find lodging.

Starting in the Summer?


There isn't an Orientation session requirement for students starting in the summer. However, we realize you may still have questions about UTC. Don't hesitate to call or email our office. In the meantime, here are a few resources you might find helpful.
