Library Renovation Updates
What’s Happening?
UTC Library has spent the summer installing new furniture throughout the second floor and other spaces in the building. Renovation continues into the Fall semester. Please excuse the mess and offline status of some closed spaces as we complete their transformation this semester.
How Do I …?
access a computer?
Windows and Mac desktops are available on the second floor as they were before. They have moved to the center of the floor on new furniture. Printers remain available in place, and laptops are available at the Check Out desk on the first floor.

get research help?
Our research services desk has moved toward the center of the floor and remaining portions of the service desk will soon be moved and replaced with seating.

use the labs and meeting rooms on the second floor?
Rooms 201, 202, 204, and 205 remain available though you may anticipate noise and activity as renovation continues in nearby spaces.

access the Loop booths that were at the end of the hall?
The Loop booths are now located along the north windows of the second floor.
access the adaptive technology in LIB 206?
All hardware from LIB 206 is now on the open floor near LIB 201.
access LIB 101 or LIB 325?
Rooms 101 and 325 will also be offline as we complete the renovation.
