What’s Happening?
UTC Library is updating several public spaces on the first and second floors for a fresh look, feel, and function for August 2026. Please excuse the mess and some service disruptions as we recreate these spaces over the summer.
How Do I …?
access a computer?
The desktops on the second floor will be unavailable temporarily. The Library has desktops available on the first floor near the Chamberlain entrance and on the third floor in the Studio. We also loan laptops from our Check Out desk on the first floor. Hardware and software details are available here:
get research help?
Our research services staff will be setting up on the first floor for scheduled service hours temporarily and will remain available for online chat and consultations by appointment. More information for getting help in the Library is available here:
use the labs and meeting rooms on the second floor?
Rooms 201, 202, 204, and 205 remain available though you may anticipate noise and activity as nearby spaces are being updated. Reserve a room here:
