Overview of Degree Requirements

The major components of the Leadership and Decision-Making Doctoral Program (link: PhD Program of Study) include:

  • 1 credit hour foundational course (LEAD 7000)
  • 39 credit hours of core coursework integrated across the program competency domains  
  • 18 credit hours of elective coursework
  • 3 credits of Pre-Dissertation Seminar
  • Comprehensive Assessment
  • 15 credits (minimum) of Dissertation
  • Successful completion and defense of the Dissertation
