Personal Property Registration
UTCPD offers a Personal Property Registration program to help protect your valuables, including electronics, bicycles, and other personal items. Registering your property allows us to assist you more effectively if it’s ever lost, damaged, or stolen. Participants can also receive registration stickers that help deter theft and make it easier to identify and return recovered items. To register, simply complete the form and pick up your registration stickers at the UTC Police Department, located in the Administrative Services Building at 400 Palmetto Street.
UTCPD Records Request
To request a copy of records from the UTC Police Department (UTCPD) online, please complete this form. Records may also be requested in person at the UTCPD administrative offices, located in the UTC Administrative Services Building, 400 Palmetto Street, Chattanooga, TN 37403. Please note that records may not be immediately available.
Event Safety & Security Request
Please complete this form when planning an event that you wish to request, or are required to have, police, security, and/or other public safety personnel (fire or medical), as outlined by campus procedures.
Compliment & Complaint Form
The UTC Department of Public Safety, which includes the UTC Police Department, the Office of Emergency Management and Threat Assessment, and the Office of Environmental Health & Safety, reviews all compliments to recognize outstanding service and investigates all complaints to address any concerns about employee conduct. The Associate Vice Chancellor for Public Safety and Chief of Police, along with the Deputy Chief of Police and the Director of Public Safety, ensures that every compliment and complaint is handled promptly, fairly, and respectfully.
