UTC Police meets its mission by providing the following forms and registrations for our campus community.
Campus Concealed Carry
As of July 1, 2016, Tennessee law, TCA 39-17-1309 allows generally all University of Tennessee full-time employees with a valid handgun permit to carry a concealed handgun on the University of Tennessee property.
Complaint/Compliment Form
It is the policy of the UTC Police Department to investigate all complaints against department employees.
Citizens may file a complaint or compliment anonymously, using the online complaint form (link below), also in person or in writing, with the Chief of Police.
Personal Property Registration
The UTC Police Department offers a Personal Property Registration program that allows you to record details about your electronics, bicycles, and other valuables. Having this information on file enables us to assist you if your property is ever lost, damaged, or stolen. We also provide registration stickers, which can help deter theft and make it easier to identify and return recovered items. To register your property, complete the form below and pick up your registration stickers at the UTC Police Department, located in the Administrative Services Building at 400 Palmetto Street.

If you represent a University program or affiliate and need event staffing, please fill out the following form.
Records Request
Please complete this form when requesting a University of Tennessee at Chattanooga Police Department traffic accident reports and police reports.
