UTC maintains four active student media organizations that are advised by faculty and staff in the the Center for Student Leadership, Engagement, and Community, the Department of Communication, the English Department and WUTC

- Sequoya Review
UTC’s literary magazine, The Sequoya Review is published yearly and has won many regional and national awards. All students, faculty & staff are invited to submit material to be considered for publication. Material (poetry, short stories, essays, photographs and artwork) is collected in the Fall through the English Department and published in the Spring.

- The Perch
The Perch, UTC's Online Radio Station, offers a creative environment for students to experience the professional operations of a radio station. We present entertainment primarily through a musical medium, from upbeat afternoons to study music programming in the evening, but student-led and student-made podcasts, DJ hours, and news airs daily. The Perch reflects the eclectic tastes of students at the University through genre-free programming.
Interested in becoming a STUDENT HOST? Head over to utcperch.com, click on the black "Become a Host" button and fill out the Google form. No prior experience is required! The Perch will provide audio recording and editing training! You just need something you're passionate about, whether that be music or a topic of conversation! All programs are pre-recorded, and students are able to set their own recording schedules!
