Homecoming Court 2022
Students at The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga are invited to apply for the 2022 Homecoming Court. The Homecoming Court is designed to represent the best of the best student leaders at the institution. Members of the Court should represent the values and mission of the institution. Interested individuals should have demonstrated academic excellence, on-campus involvement, and involvement in the local Chattanooga community.
Applications open: Monday, August 1, 2022
Applications close: Tuesday, August 30, 2022
2 Recommendation Forms Due: Friday, September 2, 2022

References identifies by the applicant will receive a link to fill out the recommendation form. Recommendation forms are due by references at 11:59 p.m. on Friday, September 2. A student’s application for Homecoming Court will not be complete without both completed recommendation forms.
Interviews
After the application review, the top 10 candidates for Homecoming King and top 10 candidates for Homecoming Queen will receive an invitation for a virtual interview. Interviews will be held on September 6-8. The top 10 for each category will be determined by their application scores.
Homecoming Court Announcement
After the interviews have been completed, the top 5 candidates for Homecoming King and top 5 candidates for Homecoming Queen will be selected for Homecoming Court which will be announced during Homecoming Kickoff on Monday, September 12. The top 5 for each category will be determined by their interview score.
Voting
After the announcement of the Homecoming Court, the UTC student body will have the opportunity to vote for their top candidates. Voting will be available starting at 9am on Tuesday, September 13, 2022, and will close on Friday, September 16, 2022, at 9 a.m. via MocSync.
Homecoming King/Queen Announcement
The announcement of Homecoming King and Queen will take place at halftime of the Homecoming game vs. North Alabama on Saturday, September 17.
Scoring Breakdown
The following chart outlines the percentage that a candidate's scores for each individual part of the process will count towards their overall score. The overall score is used to determine the Homecoming King and Queen.
