Partnerships
In order to enhance its academic programs in the regional and national wide, the UTC InfoSec Center is continuously negotiating academic partnerships with other institutions of higher learning to bring more opportunities to our students and partners in the regional. Thus far, we have, or are working with the following institutions to establish academic partnerships:
- Chattanooga State and Community College (CSCC) (TN). This is a two year community college in Chattanooga, Tennessee, that has been historically our feeder college. We have articulation agreements with Chattanooga State, that established credit transfer of CSCC students with an associate degree desiring to get a four year degree at UTC. Chattanooga State is in the process of establishing an information security program which should be in place for the 2008-2009 academic year. However, the two schools have reached an articulation agreement for the information security program. A copy of this agreement can be found at the end of this section of the criteria
- Grambling State University -Louisiana (https://www.gram.edu/). Grambling State University is a member of the Historically Black Universities and Colleges (HBUC). With Grambling State University, we share curriculum and other forms of materials and activities. Our POC ( point of contact) is Dr. Yenumula Reddy ([email protected]). A copy of the letter establishing the agreement can be found at the end of this document.
- Tuskegee University – AL. With Tuskegee University, we are still in the initial stages of establishing an agreement. At this point we have shared our curriculum with them and we are waiting for their response.
- New York Polytechnic University - NY . We also have a working relationship with New York Polytechnic University in which we have gained extensively from their curriculum and other materials. Our POC is Dr. Nasir Memon ([email protected]).
