Fine Arts Center Policies
Security/Building Policies and Procedures
Creating a safe and secure environment for all of our guests and employees is a high priority at the UTC Fine Arts Center. It is our responsibility to make sure the people who spend time at this facility are safe and secure. We will take the necessary measures to provide a pleasurable and safe environment at all times.
Smoking Policy
UTC is a smoke-free environment. Smoking is not permitted in public areas of the building. Smoking areas are located outside the venue.
Solicitation/Vending
UTC does not permit unauthorized soliciting or collecting of contributions, vending, distribution of flyers or other promotional/advertising materials on the premises.
Ticket Policy
A valid ticket for the event is required for admittance unless otherwise indicated. Children two years or older must have a ticket for admittance unless otherwise stated. Children under two can sit on a parent’s lap. All Ticket Sales are Final: No Exchanges or Refunds
Lost and Found
Please report a lost item to one of our ushers or to the Main Office #324 near the main Vine Street entrance. To learn if a lost item has been found call 423-425-4371 the day after the event.
Disabled Patron Services
Parking
Spaces for permitted disabled drivers are available in the rear (Oak Street side) of the building or the Engineering Building (5th Street) parking.
Assistive Listening Devices
Available upon request.
Interpreter
Must be requested in advance, 2 weeks prior to show. Interpreter expenses are the responsibility of the show or the promoter.
Wheelchairs
Limited spaces are available on each landing and side stage (show permitting).
Animals
Guide, sign and signal dogs to aid guests with disabilities are the only animals permitted in handicap sections of the theaters.
Cameras and Recording Devices:
The use of cameras and other audio and video recording devices is determined by the event.
