The Department of Chemistry is dedicated to student success in these challenging disciplines. Chemistry courses provide excellent preparation for professional health related fields such as medicine, dentistry, and pharmacy. Our students go on to graduate school or rewarding careers in teaching or industry.
Now we offer Residential Learning Communities! As a physics or chemistry major, you have two to choose from: MEDIC or Mocs in STEM. These living, learning programs feature shared courses in the discipline and co-curricular activities to build common experiences with your classmates and explore the greater Chattanooga area.
