Spaces
Several of the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga's most historic buildings and spaces are available to students, staff, alumni and community groups for events.
The use of one of these spaces can enhance any event, from weddings to small gatherings. While all of the buildings house ongoing administrative and academic functions, they are available for use during non-working hours and, with prior arrangement, during work hours.
Campus Recreation
All reservations are required two weeks in advance.
Available spaces:
- ARC/Maclellan Gym
- ARC Pool
- UTC Sports Complex
Chapels
- Danforth Chapel seats approximately 50 people.
- Patten Chapel seats approximately 400 people in rich oak pews.
- Services included in the rental fee for a chapel wedding.
Fine Arts Center (FAC)
An application is required to reserve the FAC.
FAC hosts three main venues:
- Roland W. Hayes Concert Hall
- Dorothy Hackett Ward Theater
- Institute of Contemporary Art
General Classrooms and Conference Rooms
Classrooms and conference rooms are available upon request to the campus community.
Library
The Library has a variety of rooms for small to large groups, and many rooms include projectors and video conferencing capabilities. Full details for each room are available on the online reservations page.
Lupton Hall
Lupton Hall has multiple meeting and study rooms available for the campus community.
McKenzie Arena
This venue accommodates sports, entertainment and large events up to 11,500 seats.
Rates are subject to change depending on event and event size.
Outdoor Space
Outdoor classrooms with Wi-fi access, courtyards, volleyball and tennis courts are just a few of many outdoor spaces available to the campus community.
University Center (UC)
Registered student organizations, University departments and offices, private individuals, non-profit, and for-profit entities can rent University Center rooms for meetings and events.
