Coming January 2026: The Age-Friendly Congregations Certificate Program
The Age-Friendly Congregations Certificate equips faith communities to better serve, support, and celebrate older adults. This eight-module program provides practical tools and theological insights to help congregations reframe aging, embrace accessibility, and strengthen intergenerational bonds. Topics include Creating Age-Friendly Congregations Healthy Aging and Resilience; Spirituality and Aging; Supporting Older Adult Well-Being; Social Inclusion and Intergenerational Connection; Ministry Models and Program Design; Advocacy and Safety; and Sustainable Action Planning. Participants will explore how to design sustainable ministries, promote inclusion, and cultivate meaningful spiritual care for all generations.
