Center for Economic Education

The vision of the UTC CEE is that teachers and students master an understanding of economics and personal finance and apply that knowledge for success in the free enterprise system.
 

The Center for Economic Education (CEE), includes workshops, seminars, and online and printed materials designed to promote a better understanding of economic issues for teachers, students, and local citizens. 

 Programs of the CEE help K-12 students, educators, and local citizens learn about economics and personal finance; maintain and update an educator’s database; host workshops that disseminate innovative ideas and materials that will help make economics more interesting and understandable; and develop relationships with local educators and relevant stakeholders.

Additionally, the CEE provides scholarly research on pedagogy in collaboration with others or independently. Research work includes planning and designing of research projects, data collection, statistical analysis, tabulation of that analysis, and writing papers, and publication of research in referred journals.
