Executive Education

Executive Education Center in the Gary W. Rollins College of Business
In today’s business environment, rising executives must be equipped to face the challenges of leading in an increasingly complex world. In late 2014, after extensive market research, The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga’s Gary W. Rollins College of Business launched an Executive Education Center to serve the needs of the Chattanooga area business community.
The first Executive Education cohort group of 20 participants from six companies successfully completed the eight-session leadership series in November of 2015. Their feedback has been overwhelmingly positive with both content and faculty receiving “excellent” ratings.
“Each session has provided great ‘nuggets’ of information I can immediately apply to improve my daily performance.”
The Rollins College of Business Executive Education Center uses a consortium model involving a number of major businesses in the Chattanooga area. Consortium members commit to send two to four participants and serve on an advisory board to identify executive education training needs and priorities. Each consortium consists of five to six companies for a total of approximately 20 participants.
The six companies in the 2015 consortium have renewed their participation for 2017. We are expanding the program by creating new consortia of additional companies.
New program consortia are forming now for both the Leadership and Digital Badge programs. Contact the Executive Education Office at 423.425.5250 or email [email protected] to learn more.
