Analytics
We gather and analyze data to better understand health and economic disparities in our region.
- Maintain a comprehensive data repository focused on social determinants of health, economic trends, and health disparities
- Build systems for safe data sharing based on privacy and governance policies
- Help navigate data access through institutional and legal channels
- Conduct root cause analysis to understand the “why” behind the disparities
- Publish actionable reports that inform policy decisions and guide community action
Community Partnerships
We build strong, lasting relationships with local organizations, government, and businesses to achieve shared goals.
- Collaborate with hospitals, clinics, nonprofits, and government agencies to create meaningful impact
- Empower organizations to develop their own tools for data collection and analysis
- Partner with the Journey Health Foundation and others to address regional health and economic disparities
- Support grant applications and program development with data and insights
- Strengthen community capacity by offering training, resources, and technical assistance
Education
We create opportunities to learn, grow, and share knowledge to inspire the next generation of leaders.
- Host webinars led by experts on pressing issues and innovative methodologies related to social determinants of health
- Engage UTC students and faculty in research, community partnerships, and service projects
- Provide hands-on learning experiences through internships, field work, and applied research opportunities
- Support experiential education that connects classroom knowledge with real-world community impact
- Develop and share resources that raise awareness about the importance of measuring and addressing social determinants of health
Research
We connect researchers and organizations with data and guidance to drive solutions.
- Provide access to curated, community-driven data to inform research and innovation
- Provide technical assistance to local organizations in creating infrastructure and processes for data collection, analysis, and reporting
- Offer qualitative and quantitative research support for community-led initiatives
- Conduct research on new tools, approaches, and/or strategies to improve community health and economic outcomes
- Translate research findings into actionable recommendations for policy, funding, and program development
