- Summer 2027: Business Internships in Vietnam
Program participants complete an eight-week internship between May 20 - July 18, 2027 in Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam. The research component is determined by several factors including the internship location, site supervisor, and the student’s research interests. Regardless of the site location, all internships focus on learning and applying research & business skills to the work experience. UTC students selected for this program will live together in apartment-style housing in Ho Chi Minh City.
As part of this specialized Research Internship, UTC students will have the unique opportunity to have Dr. Robert Dooley, Dean of the UTC Rollins College of Business, present during the first week of their time abroad in Vietnam. Dean Dooley has extensive travel experience in Vietnam and has led student study trips there.
Why Intern in Ho Chi Minh City?
Ho Chi Minh City's personality is found in its unique dichotomy, as it is the perfect blend of traditional and modern. The city boasts everything from fine dining to street food, upscale hotels to inexpensive guesthouses, and premium shopping centers to the cheapest of markets. Ornate pagodas and temples can often be seen right around the corner from large, modern skyscrapers. The streets are bustling, the people are friendly, and the coffee is strong. Between its rich culture, economic importance, and deep history, studying in Ho Chi Minh City is sure to give you an educational and eye-opening experience abroad that will leave a lasting impact.Additional Information:
