Coming Out Cookout

Coming Out Cookout is a celebration of Coming Out Day in October. We welcome everyone to join us on Chamberlain for food, tie-dye, games, and other fun. Learn more about the LGBTQ+ community and the joys of Coming Out!

Chosen Family Feast

Chosen Family Feast is held during the Winter holiday season to provide our students an opportunity to have a family meal with their chosen families.  Participants get a holiday feast and the joy of being with chosen family. 

Out! on the Town Leadership Academy

Out! in the Town Leadership Academy focuses on how we can be queer leaders by incorporating our queer identities into leadership training. Sessions include UTC Queer History, Self-Care, Resilience, and more. There is an application process to participate. 

Pride Week

Because Pride Month (June) is celebrated after students go home, we decided to bring a little Pride to April with Pride Week. Through a week of events we celebrate queer joy and identity culminating in Spectrum's Queer Prom. 

Lavender Graduation

We celebrate all our LGBTQ+ graduates at Lavender Graduation every April. This ceremony invites their families and friends and UTC community members to join us in recognizing the hard work and commitment our LGBTQ+ graduates demonstrate.
