College Quest: Exploring What UTC has to Offer in Health, STEM, and Computer Science

We are excited to invite high school juniors, seniors, and their families to College Quest at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga (UTC) on October 18th! This unique campus visit is designed for students interested in pursuing professional healthcare careers, engineering, computer science, natural sciences, and mathematics.

Event Details:

• Date: October 18th
• Time: 12:45 PM - 5:00 PM (optional lunch at 11:30 AM at the UTC University Center food court)
• Location: University of Tennessee at Chattanooga

During College Quest, you will have the opportunity to:

• Hear from faculty and staff in your areas of interest
• Enjoy a guided campus tour
• Participate in customized excursions tailored to your chosen field

Excursions Include:

• Pre-Health (Medical, Dental, Veterinary, Pharmacy, Optometry, PT/OT): Tour lab spaces and learn about clinical opportunities as well as attend the Chemistry and Physics undergraduate research symposium
• Pre-PT and OT: Visit UTC’s  PT and OT program, and experience hands-on activities with current students.
• Engineering and Computer Science: Explore lab spaces and meet with faculty to discuss the latest innovations in the field.
• Natural Sciences: Meet current undergraduate researchers and faculty in chemistry and physics, and gain exclusive access to experiences in math, biology, geology, and environmental science.

While students are engaged in their excursions, parents will have the chance to hear from our Financial Aid, Career Services, and Academic Support departments, ensuring they have all the information needed to support their students' future success.

This free event is an invaluable opportunity for those considering UTC and a career in healthcare, engineering, computer science, natural sciences, or mathematics. Please note that this event will not feature information about our nursing program.

Registration Instructions:

1. Click on the registration link and create an account, we strongly encourage your student to have the account not the parents
2. Change the date on the calendar to October 2024 and select the 18^th
3. You will see the College Quest event on October 18^th, click on that event
4. Click on the Register button

FAQ Registration Questions

Do I need to register every guest individually?

No, only 1 registration is required, and we recommend that be under the student’s name. Parents and guests can be listed as attending in that single registration

How do I register for the lunch?

In the single registration, there is a place to register for the optional lunch as well as share how many guests will be attending that lunch

Something has come up, how do I cancel my registration?

To cancel your registration, log into the portal as you did when registering. On the top right corner, you will see “Events” Click on that drop-down and select “My events” this will show you all the events you are registered for. Click on the cancel registration and it will cancel your registration. You will receive a confirmation email of your cancellation. Any selections including the optional lunch will be cancelled with the registration cancellation

I still want to attend College Quest but want to cancel the optional lunch I registered for, how do I do that?

You will want to reach out to one of our event coordinators [email protected] or [email protected] do not cancel your registration through the portal this will cancel your entire registration.
