Summer Send Off

Our Summer Send Off events connect incoming UTC students and family members with alumni, staff and current UTC students from their respective areas.  

We're excited to partner with the UTC Alumni Chapters in each region to host these events!

Atlanta

We are kicking off our week of celebration for the Class of 2022 in Atlanta at the Atlanta Botanical Garden on Sunday, July 29.  All of our newest Mocs from the Atlanta area are invited to join us and members of the UTC Alumni - Atlanta Chapter from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. EST.   We'd love to meet you!

Memphis

We'll be in the birthplace of Rock 'n' Roll on Monday, July 30 to welcome our newest Mocs from the Memphis area.  Come celebrate with us at the Memphis Botanic Garden from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. CST. We'd love to meet you!

Chattanooga

Join us in the Scenic City at 901 Lindsay on Tuesday, July 31  from 6:30pm to 8:30pm EST for an evening of celebration in honor of our newest students and families from the Chattanooga area.

Knoxville

We hope you will join us for the evening on Wednesday, Aug. 1 as we welcome our newest students & families in the Class of 2022 from the Knoxville area!  We will be at the Tiger Forest Exhibit at Zoo Knoxville from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. EST.

Nashville

Join us at our final celebration for the week in Nashville at The Harding House at Belle Meade Plantation on Thursday, August 2 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. CST.

Operation Move-In

We love welcoming our newest UTC families to campus.  

These programs are designed to help you build a sense of connection to the university and the city of Chattanooga—the place your student will call home for the next four years.

Additional information will be sent out as each program draws nearer.

Operation Move-In

The University looks forward to welcoming you and your student on campus for Operation Move-In! This campus-wide celebration will be held on Thursday, August 16 to welcome you to campus and celebrate our Class of 2022.

UTC Convocation

This exciting tradition returns to McKenzie Arena on Friday, August 17 at 10am. Hear from Chancellor Steve Angle, the SGA President, learn the UTC Fight Song and celebrate your student's first day as a MOC before sending them off to their Read 2 Achieve Book Discussion.
