Add, Drop or Withdraw From a Class
- In your MyMocs Net account, click the "How to Register" page in the left menu or search for "How to Register."
- Academic advising is required before a student is allowed to register for classes. If you are unsure of who your advisor is, check your "Academic Profile" in your MyMocsNet account. If no advisor is listed, contact your major department. If you are a freshmen or an undecided major, contact UTC Center for Academic Support and Advisement in room 335 of the library.
View Your Class Schedule
- Go to your MyMocsNet account.
- Click the "How to View Your Registered Class Schedule" page from the left menu or search for "How to View Your Registered Class Schedule." This will display a thorough review of all registered courses.
View Your Grades
- Go to your MyMocsNet account.
- Click the "Grades" tool or search for "Grades."
- Select the term to view your grades.
View Your Academic and Financial Aid Holds
- Go to your MyMocsNet account.
- Click on the "My Academic Profile" tool or search for "My Academic Profile." Your holds will display on your Student Profile in the top right notifications.
View Your Mocs Degree
The MyMocsDegree allows students to view their progress towards a degree. It shows a combination of all courses required for degree completion as well as all coursework that has been completed.
- Go to your MyMocsNet account.
- Click the "Student MyMocsDegree" tool or search for "Student MyMocsDegree."
Obtain Enrollment Verification
- Go to your MyMocsNet account.
- Click the “Enrollment Verification” tool or search for "Enrollment Verification."
- This link sends you to the National Student Clearinghouse and you can select “Current enrollment” or “All enrollment.”
Update your Preferred Name/Address/Phone Number
Current Students: To change legal name or date of birth, go to https://www.utc.edu/academic-affairs/registrar/forms and complete the Information Update Form. If you have been admitted, but not attended orientation, contact Admissions).
- In your MyMocsNet account, click on Quick Access Tools, choose Update Personal Information or search for “Update Personal Information”.
- Note: You must end the old address with a date and start a new address with a new date.
Enroll in Direct Deposit
- Go to your MyMocsNet account.
- Click on the "Payments and Refunds" tool from the left menu or search for "Payments and Refunds."
- Click “Payment Profile."
- Add New Payment Method using the dropdown menu.
- Follow the directions.
Make a Payment
- Go to your MyMocsNet account.
- Navigate to the search bar and search for the Payments and Refunds Tool.
- You will be redirected to your personal payments page.
- Your amount due and a green Make Payment button will display. Click the button to start the payment process.
- On the payment screen, find the account you want to make payment on. Enter the amount of money you want to pay; click Add to add it to your payment.
- The Add button will change to Remove if you would like to remove or change the amount.
- Press Continue.
- Choose payment method. If you already have a payment method added, select it and press continue. Otherwise, select to add a new one.
- If you choose to set up your payment plan, it will ask you to choose a payment method. Once chosen, you will be presented with the payment plan confirmation screen. Read and agree to the clause and then click Continue.
Apply for Financial Aid
Apply online at https://studentaid.gov/h/apply-for-aid/fafsa.
View Your Financial Aid Requirements
- Go to your MyMocsNet account.
- Click the “Financial Aid” tool or search for "Financial Aid."
- Click on "Award Offer" from the top menu.
Federal aid will only pay for courses counting towards your degree. Be sure to see your advisor and check your MyMocsDegree for all required courses. Institutional/outside scholarships, HOPE and TSAA are not affected.
