Fraternity and Sorority Life
New Member and Neo 101
New Member and Neo 101 is designed for the newest members of our fraternity and sorority community.
At these education sessions, participants learn a little more about our fraternity and sorority community through peer education. Participants also learn about policies important to our fraternal community, bystander intervention and campus resources to help them throughout their time on campus including the counseling center, health services, the tutoring center and more.
Fraternity and Sorority Life Emerging Leaders Institute
The Fraternity and Sorority Leadership Academy is created for students in their first or second year of membership in a fraternal organization.
Participants learn to work together and create collaborative relationships to advance the Greek community. In addition, participants will articulate and define the challenges facing UTC’s fraternity and sorority community.
Fraternity and Sorority Life Executives Institute
The Fraternity and Sorority Life Executives Institute empowers chapter and council leadership.
At this retreat, participants engage in conversations and activities that help them better understand how they lead and how to work collaboratively with their peers to advance the fraternal community at UTC. The participants also receive specific training on how to be successful in their role as a chapter or council leader.
Greek Show
The Annual Greek Show event is a spirited variety show, showcasing student talent from the fraternities and sororities on campus. Organizations work to raise money for a non-profit organization in the city of Chattanooga to raise awareness and give back to the community they call their collegiate home.
