Theatre Scholarship Information
Incoming Freshmen and Undergraduates
The UTC Theatre Division offers a variety of scholarships for students pursuing a degree in Theatre. Awards are based on merit and need. Those who receive awards must be majoring in theatre and must be active in the performance and production program throughout the fall and spring semesters. Students interested in applying must send (1) a brief letter of application, (2) two letters of recommendation (from teachers, counselors, or theatre directors), (3) a copy of his or her latest transcript and (4) a resume highlighting theatre experience as well as extracurricular activities and special skills.

The Division will begin its review of applications starting in September, for awards for the following fall.

TRANSFER STUDENTS
Transfer students should follow the above instructions. UTC has standing agreements with most of Tennessee's Two-Year Colleges. Students who transfer to UTC with an Associate's Degree should be able to finish a B. A. in Theatre with only two additional years if they follow their UTC Theatre advisor's instructions.
