UTC Brass Quintet
The UTC Brass Quintet is a small ensemble that offers an opportunity for brass players to learn and perform repertoire for a variety of chamber brass instrumentations. Quintets, quartets, and trios are all potential works for the ensemble. Members learn standard brass chamber ensemble repertoire, as well as music designed for special occasions. The ensemble has performed a new work by our very own Dr. Kenyon Wilson, offered holiday music at Rock City, and its members have participated in a larger brass choir for commencement exercises at UTC.
Brass Quintet is a zero or one credit hour course offered in the Music Division of the Department of Performing Arts. To participate, musicians must enroll in MUS 2021 and select zero or one credit hour. The ensemble is coached by horn professor, Dr. Jocelyn Sanders. For more information, contact Dr. Jocelyn Sanders.
