General Chemistry Questionnaire
Are you ready to enroll in General Chemistry?
General Chemistry lecture (1110) and lab (1110L) are required courses for many students interested in the health, science, engineering, and technical fields. It is frequently referred to as the central science due to its overlap with biology, physics, and mathematics. Chemistry may also be considered a foreign language due to the terminology, symbols, and chemical names that are involved. As a result, students may be either underprepared or unwilling to commit the time to be successful in the course.
We know from experience that students with solid math skills, good study habits and work ethic, and recent math and science experience are much more likely to succeed in Chemistry. Therefore, we have developed a self-assessment questionnaire to help you determine if you are ready for General Chemistry, and what you may need to do to be successful.
