Cancellations
If a registration is canceled for any reason, the individual or organization making the original tuition payment will receive: (1) a refund of 90%, if the cancellation request is received in writing prior to 15 days before the course start date; (2) a refund of 50%, if the cancellation request is received in writing less than 15 days before the start of the course; (3) no refund for a ‘No Show’ or for a cancellation request received on the course start date or after the course is in progress. (4) once the materials have been received and/or activated, a refund will not be granted. Note: The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga reserves the right to cancel the course due to low enrollment. If a course is canceled due to low enrollment, registration fees are refunded in full.
Transfers
A registration may be transferred to another person for a $25 fee.
Registrants may request a transfer to another session start but additional fees may incur. Select classes may not qualify.
Program Disruption Accommodation Statement
When circumstances beyond the University’s control, the University reserves the right to modify the schedule, including delaying the start and end dates, and the format of delivery, to include a move to online delivery, any program at the time of disruption. Should a disruption occur during the delivery of a program, participants will be given an option to opt out and receive a pro-rated refund, less expenses or continue on in the alternative format. If a participant elects to continue on, the participant acknowledges and understands that they explicitly consent to any and all necessary modifications as determined by the University and its instructional team. The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga reserves the right to cancel programs due to disruptions beyond its control, at which time full refunds will be issued.
