Learning and Leadership Doctoral Program Degree Requirements

Overview of Degree Requirements

The major components of the Learning and Leadership Doctoral Program include:

  • 27 credits of core course work (Ed.D.)/39 credit hours of core coursework (Ph.D.) - integrated across the program competency domains

  • 24 credits of elective course work (Ed.D.)/18 credit hours of elective coursework (Ph.D.)

  • 3 credits of Pre-Dissertation Seminar

  • Comprehensive Assessment

  • 12 credits (minimum) of Dissertation (Ed.D.)/15 credits (minimum) of Dissertation (Ph.D.)

  • Successful completion and defense of the Dissertation
