The University Echo
The University Echo is the student newspaper of the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. Papers come out biweekly on Tuesdays and updates are available online. The paper consists of news, features, sports and opinion pieces written by staff writers and editors.

FERPA (Student Privacy)
The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974 (FERPA), also known as the Buckley Amendment, set requirements and regulations for the access and release of student information and records.
FERPA rights are presented to both students and parents during New Student Orientation where they are given the opportunity to sign FERPA Release Forms allowing third party access to the student’s academic and financial information covered by FERPA law.

While Visiting Chattanooga
While you are visiting Chattanooga, we encourage you to take advantage of the local attractions around town. Children enjoy the Creative Discovery Museum while lovers of the outdoors like spending time at Rock City and Ruby Falls. You will also want to visit the downtown area for some great restaurants.
