We want to help you effectively recruit UTC students and alumni for internships, part-time and full-time positions.
This is accomplished through career fairs, job postings, on-campus recruitment, employer information sessions, and other partnership opportunities.

Handshake Job Postings
Handshake is the place where you can post internships, and jobs for current students, recent grads, and alums. It is one of the easiest ways to connect with students and alums, 24/7!
Once you post an internship or job and you are approved by the system, students will have access to see it. You will be able to provide details about your position(s), as well as specify which academic majors/programs would best fit your position. If you will let our Assistant Director of Community & Employer Relations, Marli Wolff, know once your job is posted, she can flag it as a local opportunity to drive additional student engagement.
Here are instructions to create a Handshake profile and post jobs/internships:
- Navigate to Handshake
- Create your account or click log in if you already have an account.
- Connect to schools. Be sure to select UTC.
- Create your job/internship post.
- Start recruiting/job posting/hiring! As soon as your connection has been approved, you’ll be able to browse students’ profiles, track job applicants, and manage your on-campus presence.
