Mark’s passion is to help people develop the knowledge and skills to find freedom from anxiety, healing from pain and hope in the face of despair. He specializes in working with panic attacks, anxiety disorders and PTSD, and enjoys working with adjustment disorders depression, schizophrenia and other concerns. He is trained evidence-based treatments including Solution Focused Brief Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Biofeedback, Interpersonal and Social Rhythm Therapy and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). Mark originally from Baton Rouge, LA, he received his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Louisiana Tech University in 1998, and his Master of Arts in Biblical Counseling from Dallas Theological Seminary in 2004. He has worked as a youth pastor, summer staff at Kanakuk and Sky Ranch summer camps, and as a Professional Counselor in settings including teen residential treatment, private practice, church based counseling settings and community mental health agencies. He recently moved from Colorado Springs where he spent the last 10 years providing outpatient counseling and crisis evaluations in a Community Mental Health Clinic. Outside of the office he enjoys spending time with his wife and 3 sons, riding motorcycles, playing golf, mountain biking, hiking, and serving in his local church.
