1,000 Dreams Scholarship Fund
Each year, the 1,000 Dreams Scholarship is awarded to up to five female students with financial need who are attending high school or a two-year or four-year college or university in the U.S. Students must demonstrate financial need. https://www.growyourgiving.org/scholarships/1000-dreams-scholarship-fund
American Legion Auxiliary Non-traditional Student Scholarship
An annual award of $1000 is available to members of the American Legion, the AL Auxiliary or the Sons of The American Legion. The scholarship is open to adult students who are headed to college for the first time, or are returning to complete an interrupted education. Association for Non-traditional Students in Higher Education
ANTSHE is dedicated to the support and encouragement of adult students who are pursuing their degrees in higher education. The association administers three scholarship programs, the Marius “Gabe” Degabriel Scholarship, the Kazimour Scholarship and the Contributors Scholarship. AAIA Displaced Homemaker Scholarship
The Association on American Indian Affairs offers Displaced Homemaker Scholarships in the amount of $1000 each, to those men and women who would not otherwise be able to complete their educational goals due to family responsibilities. Funds may be used to assist with child care, transportation and basic living expenses, etc. in addition to educational costs. Disbursement is made during the first semester. Applicants must be full time students. This scholarship does not automatically renew. Students are eligible to apply on a yearly basis. Adult Students in Scholastic Transition (ASIST) Program
The program provides financial support and guidance to adults in the community who are in a variety of transitional situations. ASIST is coordinated by the participating EWI Chapters. Education Support Award
The Patsy Takemoto Mink Education Foundation will award five grants to low-income women with children who are pursuing a college degree or training program. Applicants must be of at least 17 years of age and a mother with minor children who can demonstrate financial need and state their civic-oriented or career goals post-graduation. Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant
The Federal Supplemental Education Opportunity Grant is a federal grant awarded to low-income undergraduate students with “exceptional need” for educational financial assistance (i.e. those with the lowest Expected Family Contributions, or EFCs, and who are also Federal Pell Grant recipients.) https://www2.ed.gov/programs/fseog/index.html
MaryEllen Locher Scholarship
MaryEllen Locher Scholarship Foundation scholarships are given to the children of breast cancer patients--either survivors, those currently in treatment, or deceased. The Wal-Mart Associate Scholarships

P.E.O. Program for Center for Professional Education
Provides grants up to $1,500 for educational expenses, (e.g., tuition, books, transportation, childcare) to women whose education has been interrupted and who find it necessary to resume studies due to changing demands in their lives. http://www.peointernational.org
Soroptimist Live Your Dream Awards
Among many programs aimed at promoting female empowerment and improving the lives of women and girls, Soroptimist’s Live Your Dream Awards support education and training for women who want to make a positive change within their community and around the world. Soroptimist's Women's Opportunity Awards
These are cash awards that assist women entering or re-entering the workforce in obtaining the education and skills training they need to improve their employment status. These awards are for women who are attending, or have been accepted to, a vocational/skills training program, or an undergraduate degree program. Recipients may use for any expenses related to their educational pursuits. These include tuition and books, housing, child care and transportation. Royal Neighbors of America, Nontraditional Scholarships
RNA's "nontraditional" scholarship program provides educational support to members who don't fall into the usual college age range. Fifteen scholarships are open to persons age 23 and older.
