I have not only made the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga (UTC) my work place home but I have also chosen to make UTC my educational home as well. I began my journey by earning my Bachelors of Science in Political Science here at UTC and then began a career in the nonprofit sector, primarily working with organizations that are focused on community and/or social issues. After taking some time away from my educational goals, in order to gain further experience in the nonprofit sector, I began working on my Master’s in Public Administration (MPA) here at UTC. Once I graduated with my MPA I left Chattanooga and started working as a Grant Writer with small nonprofit organizations in Atlanta Georgia. In 2013 I returned to Chattanooga and began working for UTC, first with the STEM Education program and then moving over to the School or Nursing. Today I am currently working on my PhD in Learning and Leadership here at UTC and am looking forward to what the future holds for me here at UTC.
